GN&C Internship (NASA-Intern)
Some tasks include:
- Performing machine vision sensor (camera, LIDAR) calibration
- Developing and/or testing LIDAR-based hazard detection (HD) and safe-site-identification/safe-
- site-selection (SSI/SSS) algorithms
- Developing and/or testing sim-to-real image transformation algorithms
- Integrating deep learning based GN&C algorithms with STAR payload
- Developing test plan/procedure for evaluating various machine vision based GN&C algorithms
- Generating scaled reference trajectories to emulate real-world operations
- Developing real-time LIDAR, camera, and IMU based navigation filter
